My client in Woburn, MA is seeking a .NET Web Applications Developer. This candidate will play a key role in deploying applications on a new SDL Tridion CMS implementation in a Microsoft-centered architecture, as well as migrating existing applications from Drupal/PHP to .NET
Position Summary:
Develop across all layers of applications, using the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, ASP.NET, SQL, MS FAST search, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Position Responsibilities:
- Share .NET skills with other developers
- Continuously improve security of website; maintain awareness of new ways to breach sites
Desired Skills & Experience
Essential Skills and Experience- Highly proficient in .NET development using C# or VB
- Previous experience working with a web content management system; experience with SDL Tridion a strong plus
- Experience working with Team Foundation Server as a collaborative environment
- Experience with MSSQL and/or MySQL
- Experience developing applications using one or more web services: XML, REST, JSON, AJAX, SOAP
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities within tight time constraints
- Outstanding ability to work collaboratively and individually
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in Russian is a plus
