RF/MW Design Engineer (components) 120K+



7+ years experience in microwave component design with an understanding of power dividers, couplers 90°/180° hybrids and fixed phase shifters with multiple octave bandwidths, which  represent our integrated assembly’s building blocks. Construction techniques include Stripline, Microstrip, Ferrite and Coaxial in frequencies from 100 KHz through 40 GHz. Able to combine construction technologies in order to optimize product packaging and performance.

Responsibilities:
      • Expected to design and develop products from scratch that will meet customers’ requirements
      • Calculating the circuit element values, generating a physical layout, designing mechanical packaging, and working on processes that will be used in production
      • Ability to utilize computer simulation tools such as Ansoft Designer, HFWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, and AutoCad
      • Will work closely with other team members to transfer designs into detailed drawings and procedures that are required in order to successfully build and test products
      • Support project documentation such as various design and failure analysis and qualification test reports
      • Requires interpersonal skills associated with working closely with the group’s various functional areas and management to support operations and key initiatives in the most effective and efficient manner.
      • Hands on bench support for a wide assortment of programs
Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Thorough knowledge of Electromagnetic modeling tools
  • A strong background in RF mechanical packaging and processes
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
